26 Blessings

Today may just be an ordinary day July 7,2011, but for me and my family it is a day of celebration.  Today I woke up counting my blessings.  Although many of us spend time reflecting on what we are thankful at the end of the year, I like to sit and reflect a least twice a year ( My Birthday and New Years Eve).

Counting my blessings and naming them one by one, but not in order of importance.
1.  The LORD created my inmost being; the LORD knit me together in my mother's womb. Ps. 139:13
2.   I am confident of this, that He who began a good work in me will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
3. I am thankful for my parents care, nurture, and love.
4. Thankful for my sister Susan and for Chris. Praying for my nephew, as he continues to grow and for his health. We all await in great anticipation for his birthday in November.
5. Blessed by all of the friendships the Lord has placed in my life even though we are all over the earth.
6. Thankful for my entire family and for the ways the Lord is working in each of their lives.
7. I am blessed to now be able to say that I have been to school on my birthday :)

8. I am thankful for the unconditional love from children.
9. I am blessed to be able to learn another language.
10. I am blessed to be apart of the body of Christ.
11. I am thankful to have the opportunity to have lived in Miami and in Costa Rica over this last year.
12. I am blessed to be born in the United States, sometimes I don't think of it as a privilege but it is!
13.  I am thankful for the Lord guidance for the future!
14. I am blessed to have a great host family here in Costa Rica, who have helped me feel like I am apart of their family.

17. I am thankful for the sun shine and the rain.
18. I am thankful for laughter, especially while learning a language and living in another culture.
19. I am blessed to live in a country with fresh tropical fruit. For those of you that don't know fruit is my chocolate, because I am allergic to chocolate. I really like fresh fruit and I get to have a fruit salad almost every day here in Costa Rica.
20. I am thankful for technology, it has helped me stay connected and reconnect with wonderful friends and family.
21. I am thankful for clean water and the ability to drink water from the faucet, I won't be able to do that in a month.
